Who Are We?

Mark Pi's koko is a unique, lighter approach to Asian food. An offshoot of the popular Mark Pi's Express, a chain of Chinese restaurants found worldwide, this new concept was developed by Mark Pi Sr.'s youngest son and daughter. Not only did they each contribute their personal visions for quick, healthier, fresh, and delicious Asian food, but they also put their first names together - Konan and Ko-Rely- to give koko its fun, light-hearted name.

What makes Mark Pi's koko lite-hearted?

Instead of cooking all our meals in a wok, we use a flat-top grill to cook our meats and vegetables. We then layer your choice of seasoned meats and fresh vegetables on a bed of rice or noodles, and serve one of our delicious sauces on top. In this way, we use much less oil and high-calorie sauces than traditional methods.

  • We use only freshly-cut chicken breast, and lightly dust it with potato starch instead of a heavy batter for our crispy chicken
  • We use only low-sodium soy sauce in our fried rice and lo mein
  • We offer a nutritious whole-grain brown rice option
  • We never use MSG

For even lighter options, try lite or no sauce, or sauce on the side.
